Sound MOVEMENT Celebrates Studio Expansion

Larchmont’s premiere fitness and wellness destination offers new programs

Sound MOVEMENT, a Pilates and Gyrotonic® Method studio in Larchmont, is celebrating its newly expanded space at a ribbon cutting ceremony with Larchmont Mayor, Lorraine Walsh on Friday, November 3rd at 5:45 pm.

An open house Celebration Party follows from 6-8pm. The expanded studio space provides group instruction space for Pilates & Gyrokinesis® Method and new programs such as MELT, Yoga, TRX® and Teen Pilates classes.

One of the few Pilates studios in Westchester to offer both Gyrotonic® and Gyrokinesis® Methods, Sound MOVEMENT specializes in one-on-one personal training.

Carson has created a unique destination in Larchmont -- surrounding herself with a dynamic group of professional dancers and performance artists, who love to share their reverence for the human body and passion for movement. All are Kane School certified, a rigorous training program combining the core principles of Pilates with a modern, clinical perspective on the human body. This anatomy-based approach goes beyond choreography to explain why these exercises work.

Sound MOVEMENT can help clients achieve a variety of physical goals through one-on-one training, group classes or with an array of wellness services the studio offers --Chinese medicine, acupuncture, holistic chiropractic care, Ortho-Bionomy® and numerous massage therapies.
