State Police Arrest Mamaroneck Man on DWI Charge
The incident occurred on I-95 in New Rochelle.
Alcibiades Gonzalez, 52, of Mamaroneck was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of Driving While Intoxicated June 27 on I-95 in New Rochelle, according to state police.
The incident occurred at about 1 a.m., when troopers responded to a one-car accident and found Gonzalez to be intoxicated, state police said.
Gonzalez was taken to a local hospital for evaluation of minor abrasions, and was then booked at the New Rochelle state police headquarters where his blood alcohol content was 0.11 percent, according to state police.

In addition to the DWI charge, Gonzalez also was charged with multiple motor vehicle violations.
He was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the City of New Rochelle Court on July 14 at 9:30 a.m.
