Stop & Shop Delivers 2,000 Stuffed Animals to Cancer Survivor
Six Year-Old Larchmont Cancer Survivor Will Donate the Toys to Pediatric Cancer Patients in Area Hospitals

The Stop & Shop Stores across Westchester delivered 2,000 stuffed animals for Valentine’s Day to the home of six year-old Larchmont cancer survivor, Cassidy Kline. Cassidy’s Charity, Cuddles from Cassidy https://www.cuddlesfromcassidy.org/ will present the Teddy Bears to pediatric cancer patients across Westchester and the New York City metropolitan area.
Cassidy serves as one of the ambassadors to Stop & Shop’s Help Cure Childhood Cancer Campaign, which has raised over $25 million since 2001 for hospitals like Memorial Sloan Kettering.
Cassidy is currently in remission after being diagnosed with stage-four rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare muscle and soft tissue cancer. Cuddles from Cassidy Pediatric Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to provide comfort and joy to children battling life-threatening illnesses by providing cuddles (care packages with stuffed animals, toys, and tokens of love) to put smiles on their faces.
