If your heat pump, air conditioner, furnace or boiler is more than 15 years old, it’s likely time for new equipment.

As a rule of thumb, if the cost to repair your system(s) is rather significant, replacement is likely the better option. The reason being is because if your system is malfunctioning now, at 15 years of age, it’s likely that it will continue to lose its efficiency due to normal wear and tear, creating the need for more costly repairs.

If you’ve reached the 10-year mark on your system, and you’re investing in repairs at least once a year, it’s time to replace. New systems will deliver increased efficiency, energy savings and peace of mind.
