School officials said the threats were made by a student who does not attend the school.

MAMARONECK, NY — A lockout was initiated Friday morning at Hommocks Middle School in the Mamaroneck school district after threats were received. School officials said the threats were from a student who was not attending the school and is now in custody.
A spokeswoman for the district said it learned from a parent that threats were made against students by a student "who was not currently attending our school and not allowed on school grounds."
The district immediately contacted the police, and no one was permitted to enter the building at that time.
