Thwarted Attempt to Obtain Oxycodone; Mamaroneck Man Charged With Felony

Joseph Fasce, 43, of Mamaroneck attempted to obtain oxycodone at a Peekskill CVS.

On July 21 at 12:50 a.m. Joseph Fasce, 43, of Mamaroneck was charged with second degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a felony. He went to the Peekskill Beach Shopping Center CVS Pharmacy and tried to obtain oxycodone, a prescription narcotic, with a forged prescription pad, taken from a doctor at Dobbs Ferry Community Hospital, according to a release from the Peekskill police department.

The investigation is continuing into how he obtained the prescription pad.

Fasce was held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court without bail.
