Town Of Mamaroneck: Construction Alert - Resurfacing Of East Hickory Grove Drive

Please be advised that Contractor crews working under the Town's 2021 Road Resurfacing contract have scheduled work for completion on East Hickory Grove Drive. Both preparatory work (including milling of existing asphalt surface and adjustment of drain and sewer castings) and asphalt paving will be undertaken on Friday, October 8th. All work will occur during normal daytime working hours.

It should be noted that all schedules are subject to acceptable weather conditions. The Town will continue to closely monitor weather forecasts to confirm conditions are acceptable for asphalt paving to proceed.

No on-street vehicle parking will be permitted on East Hickory Grove Drive. Maintenance of clear access to the roadways will help ensure successful completion of Contractor work in a safe and efficient manner. The road will remain closed to vehicle traffic during and immediately following placement of new asphalt. Please plan trips accordingly as vehicle access to private driveways within the closure may be limited for several hours while new asphalt pavement cools.
