Town of Mamaroneck Seeks Input On A Comprehensive Plan For The Future
What is your vision for the town's future? Here's your chance to let the town know your thoughts and suggestions.

MAMARONECK, NY — The Town of Mamaroneck wants to hear from you about your vision for the future as the comprehensive plan is updated.
The town, along with input from local residents through public workshops and events, will identify goals and strategies for the future of the town. The plan will provide a blueprint for future growth and preservation of the town.
Together Our Mamaroneck (T.O.M.) is a framework establishing policies for the area's long-term planning and development. The plan will create a strategy for a more environmental, equitable and economically sound unincorporated area of the Town of Mamaroneck.

Listening sessions are being held and are great chances for Town of Mamaroneck residents and merchants to voice their thoughts and suggestions about: trails, open spaces and recreation, transportation and connectivity, community services, housing needs and choices, economic development and sustainability.
Two listening sessions were already held on May 4, one with Mamaroneck High School students and another with residents from the Washington Square neighborhood.

The next series of listening sessions will take place on Tuesday, May 24. There will be three sessions:
- Mamaroneck Senior Center (not just for seniors) from 10 a.m.-11 a.m.; 1288 W. Boston Post Rd.; free, on-site parking
- Weaver St. Fire House, 2nd Floor from 1:30 p.m.-3:30p.m.; 205 Weaver St.
- Hommocks Park Ice Rink from 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.; 140 Hommocks Rd.; free, on-site parking
