Town Of Mamaroneck: Tropical Storm Ida - Continued Response Update

The Town is continuing our response to Tropical Storm Ida:1.    There are approximately 584 residents that remain without power. Our latest estimate from Con Edison on restoration is for 95% restoration by 11:00 pm this evening and full restoration by 3:00 pm on Saturday.2.    A ConEdison dry ice location has been set up today until 8:00pm in Town Lot A across from Memorial Park and behind 1 Vine Street for those of you who may still be out of power and may need this service.3.    Town Center (740 W. Boston Post Road) will be open until 4:00 today for charging and internet access should residents wish to take advantage of such service.  Masks are required.4.    Our road crews and engineering staff are assessing damages and handling clean up and repairs as quickly as possible.5.    The Larchmont Mamaroneck Sanitation Commission has announced that the Maxwell Avenue facility (40 Maxwell Avenue) will be open from 8am to 3pm tomorrow, Saturday, September 4 to assist unincorporated Town area and Village of Larchmont residents only, that have suffered flood damage.  There will also be a special collection on Saturday, September 4. Further details can be found here.Please keep in mind there is no sanitation collection on Monday, September 6 in observance of Labor Day.We will be providing additional information as necessary as we move forward in trying to assist all residents in their efforts to recover from the impacts of Tropical Storm Ida.
