Traffic Stop Yields Pot Arrest: NYSP

The man was a passenger in the car that was stopped.

LARCHMONT, NY – On February 27, 2019, at approximately 11:15 p.m., state police stopped a vehicle on I-95 in the village of Larchmont for a vehicle and traffic violation. After interviewing the occupants, probable cause to search the vehicle was established, police said.

The passenger, Hasani Dixon, 24, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, was found to be in possession of about 27 grams of marijuana.

He was taken into custody and transported to the New Rochelle barracks where he was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana 5th degree, a misdemeanor.

Dixon was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Village of Larchmont Court March 12.
