Village of Larchmont Announces Holiday Events
Village Hall, Larchmont Chamber, and local businesses partner together for the holiday season
The Village of Larchmont’s Mayor Lorraine Walsh and the ‘Love Larchmont’ Chamber of Commerce announced the plans for the town’s holiday events.
The Chamber Cares Charity Drive event will be held through Saturday, December 7. The focus of this event is giving back to the community by supporting local non-profit organizations. Chamber members will support The Hunger Task Force with a canned and boxed food drive, Hope Community Services with a coat drive and the Lions Club Recycle for Sight Program with an eyeglasses drive. The Humane Society of Westchester will also be supported with a Meet & Greet a Doggie Ambassador event on Saturday, November 30 from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. outside The Flower Bar. Shoppers may make donations or purchase a calendar which supports the Humane Society’s capital campaign. Participating drop off locations may be found on the Chamber’s website and FaceBook page, Love Larchmont.
Everyone’s favorite annual event, Light Up Larchmont, will be held on Saturday, December 7. In support of Light Up Larchmont event the Chamber will host all-day festivities in stores as well as a free nostalgic horse and carriage ride throughout town, a visit from Santa Claus at Pocket Park, and festive holiday carolers strolling from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

All are encouraged to join the Larchmont Professional Fire Fighters and the Larchmont Police Benevolent Association for the 6th Annual Light Up Larchmont.
Rain or shine, this year’s free event returns outdoors in front of Larchmont's Village Hall from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m., with instant print and digital pictures of your family and Santa! Backdropped on a colorful holiday scenescape, these photographs are taken by professional photographers and will capture the feeling of the season for you to take home and share with loved ones! Also featured will be local choirs and jazz bands performing seasonal tunes from the Larchmont Music Academy. Warm up with hot cocoa and pastries, and get creative with do-it-yourself arts and crafts. In addition, the French-American School across the street from the park will be hosting their annual holiday fair. To capstone the celebration, we will count down to light up our 25-foot Christmas tree which will sparkle with hundreds of spectacular lights!

So come out to the Larchmont Fire House at 120 Larchmont Avenue on December 7 and start your holiday season off right, with a jolly good time, great people all around, and festive family memories to last a lifetime.
This completely free event is funded by the Larchmont Professional Fire Fighters Association (Local 895) and the Larchmont Police Benevolent Association.
Shop, Sip & Stroll Thursday, December 19 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Join us to sip spirits, enjoy holiday entertainment and strolling throughout the stores while you get your last minute shopping done. This event will include a bar crawl trolley ride to take customers from shops to restaurants and bars for tastings of holiday cheer! Stay tuned for locations and more details!
An Instagram contest will be held throughout the month of December. Visit your favorite store, take a pic or selfie, and tag “@Love Larchmont” to be entered to win gift certificates!
