Want Food Delivered? There's an Uber App for That
The car service which isn't available in southern Westchester has a food delivery service which is.
LARCHMONT, NY — A new food delivery service is now available to hungry people in southern Westchester.
UberEATS, which is powered by an app run by the Uber car service, has partnered with 86 lower Hudson Valley restaurants to provide home and business delivery of their foods, according to the Journal News.
At look at the UberEATS website, using a random address in New Rochelle, finds more than 40 restaurants signed up for the service.

If you are craving Croatian food, Dubrovnik Restaurant in New Rochelle is ready to have UberEATS deliver a meal.
Roc N Ramen in New Rochelle, Walters Hot Dogs in Mamaroneck (imagine not having to wait on line) and Polpettina — both the Larchmont and Eastchester locations —are also part of the service.

Each restaurant that is listed provides a menu and a range of delivery times.
And if the restaurant is not open when you want to order something, the service tells you when the restaurant will open for the day.
According to UberEATS’ FAQ, the booking fee ranges between $3.99 and $4.99. Tips are not included, but the site said they aren’t expected or required. You can pay with your Uber account and track the order as it's being delivered.
The UberEATS app is available for download from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
