A caravan of supporters of the president raised concerns in the Hudson Valley Sunday.
MAMARONECK, NY — A caravan of supporters of the president raised concerns in the town of Mamaroneck Sunday when a resident called police to say she had seen what appeared to be a gun pointing out of the window of a black pickup truck.
The incident happened around 1 p.m. Sunday when about 100 vehicles showing their support for President Donald Trump drove through the town on Boston Post Road.
Drivers and passengers were honking horns and waving flags from the vehicles, according to town officials.

In spite of that, town police immediately sent multiple officers to the area.
The officers found that many of the vehicles were black pickup trucks and that the caravan had already entered the village of Mamaroneck.
However, police officials said the decision was made to monitor the caravan until it left the town of Mamaroneck.
"The response of the town police officers was immediate and appropriate to avoid any further incident involving our residents and the participants in the caravan," said town Police Chief Paul Creazzo.
Mamaroneck Town Supervisor Nancy Seligson said it was an unfortunate incident for the town.
"We are all relieved that no further issues occurred and that everyone is safe," she said
