Marlene Ghuneim and Sabrina Sueiro, both students at Mamaroneck High School, were awarded Woman's Club of Larchmont Scholarships during the Mamaroneck-Larchmont Student Aid Fund ceremony held on June 10, 2019. Soledad Sambrano and Therese Boyd, the Woman’s Club co-president and philanthropy chair respectively, attended the awards ceremony and congratulated these two proud recipients for their hard work and determination.

Ms Ghuneim will be attending the School of Visual Arts, where she plans to study computer art/animation and visual effects. Ms Sueiro, who is the first generation in her family to attend college, is planning to study psychology at the University of Delaware.

Thanks to the Woman's Club's steadfast and generous support of the Larchmont-Mamaroneck Student Aid Fund, along with other donors, the Fund was able to award 63 scholarships to members of the graduating class. The Woman’s Club of Larchmont, Inc., founded some 90 years ago, continues to welcome women of all ages to enjoy friendship, contribute to the wider community through philanthropic endeavors, and to participate in a variety of cultural and educational events throughout the year. The Club supports about a dozen local organizations each year.
