Wrestling With Your Child's Car Seat?

Watch a certified police officer teach you how to properly install it.

In these three videos to the right, certified Police Officer Christopher Jaeger will teach you how to install rear-facing and forward-facing child seats, and booster seats for older children.

According to a New York State law, children ages 0 to 8 must use car seats or booster seats when in a car.

A rear-facing child seat is designed to hold a baby who is 0 to 1 years old or weighs 0 to 20 pounds, Jaeger indicates. The forward-facing child seat is for children who weigh between 20 to 40 pounds. The booster seat is for kids who weigh at least 40 pounds and are at least 52-53 inches tall.
