2 Adults, 4 Children Displaced In Levittown Kitchen Fire: NCFM
The fire marshal's office says the fire was brought under control with personnel from five departments.
LEVITTOWN, NY. — Two adults and four children are out of their home after a kitchen fire broke out in a two-story home in Levittown Saturday night, the Nassau County Fire Marshal’s office said.
The fire marshal’s office said a fire alarm was raised at 6:34 p.m. Saturday, at which point personnel from the Valley Stream, New Hyde Park, Point Lookout-Lido and Seaford departments responded to get the fire under control, with mutual aid from the Bethpage fire department.
The fire marshal’s office described the blaze as a stove fire, and said that the NCFM and NCPD arson bomb squad were investigating the cause of the blaze. As for the two adults and four children, the fire marshal’s office said that the Red Cross had been contacted in the wake of their displacement.
