• New York High School Football Coach Suddenly Bailed On His Team At Very First Practice Of The Season (brobible.com) — MacArthur High School's longtime football coach has abruptly resigned after the first official practice, leaving Levittown players and families facing a sudden leadership change just weeks before the Sept. 10 season opener. With no permanent athletic director currently in place in the Levittown school district, three assistant coaches are temporarily running practices while the district figures out a replacement plan.
