Helping our Veterans

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano of Bethpage along with his wife Linda and their two dogs, Rocky and Max. Joining them is United Water’s Michael Martino.

United Water welcomes participants in the first annual America’s VetDog organization which saw hundreds of dogs and their owners join runners at the Old Bethpage Village Restoration and the Museum of American Armor. America’s VetDogs provide training and placement of specialized service dogs to veterans and first responders with disabilities from their Smithtown headquarters. This year’s 5K run and dog walk was made possible through a charitable partnership with United Water and hosted by Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano, of Bethpage who along with his wife Linda, are the proud owners of two dogs, Rocky and Max. Joining them is United Water’s Michael Martino.
