Bank In Nassau Supermarket Robbed At Gunpoint In Broad Daylight
The brazen robbery happened in front of other customers and a store full of employees, police say.

Nassau police are searching for the man who robbed a bank inside a Levittown supermarket late Wednesday morning.
According to police, the man entered the Bethpage Federal Credit Union branch inside King Kullen supermarket, located at 3284 Hempstead Turnpike, at 11:03 a.m. The man approached the teller, pulled out a gun and passed the teller a note demanding money. The teller gave the robber cash, and he fled on foot in an unknown direction.
The robber was in his 30s, wearing a baseball cap, dark colored pants and a dark colored jacket. There were four employees and one customer inside the bank at the time of the robbery, and many customers and employees inside the supermarket. No one was hurt.
