Community Raising Funds For Family Of Andrew Alati
Andrew was killed Sunday while riding his bicycle on Hempstead Turnpike. The community is raising money for his family.
A fundraiser is currently active for the family of a Levittown boy who was killed while riding his bicycle Sunday.
Andrew Alati, 13, was riding his bicycle on Hempstead Turnpike Sunday evening when he was hit by a car and killed.
The Island Trees community has come together to raise money for the Alati family, and the GoFundMe is still active.

A wake for Andrew is being held at Chapey and Sons Funeral Home, located at 20 Hicksville Road in Bethpage, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. and 7 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, July 5. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 6 at St. James Church, located at 80 Hicksville Road in Seaford, at 9:15 a.m., followed by a burial at Holy Rood Cemetery.
