Bus Trip: Essex Steam Train and Riverboat

The Levittown Library will be holding a bus trip to visit the Essex steam train and riverboat. Participants will get to eat a wonderful lunch at the historic Griswold Inn, which was established in 1776. Then the group will take in the beauty of the Connecticut River on board an antique steam train, followed by a cruise on a riverboat. The trip will be meeting at the library at 8 a.m., with the bus leaving at 8:30 a.m. The arrival time back at the library for the evening will be around 8 p.m.

Tickets are $89 per person, which includes train and riverboat tours, lunch, transportation and gratuities. Limit of four tickets per person. Registration for Levittown School District residents begins on May 17 at 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Community Room. Ticket sales for Levittown UFSD residents will continue at 7:30 p.m. Non-resident registration begins on May 24 at 9:30 a.m. at the Reference Desk. Payment is due at the time of registration.
