Island Trees High School Bulldog wrestling team hosts their annual Ted Peterson Tournament at Island Trees Memorial Elementary School, beginning at 9am and lasting all day long. There will be 12 teams from across Long Island competing.
Mr. Ted Peterson was an Island Trees Physical Education teacher, but unfortunately passed away in 1989 because of Lou Gehrig's disease. Each year, the high school hosts this event to remember their beloved teacher.
