LEVITTOWN, NY — A house was badly damaged by a fire in Levittown. It happened just before 6 p.m. on Sunday on Ridge Lane near Brook Lane. The fire, which appeared to start in the attic, was fully engulfed by the time police arrived. All residents evacuated safely and there were no injuries, police said. The Levittown Fire Department extinguished the blaze that is being investigated.
