Mr. Karl Hedstrom, art teacher at Island Trees High School, has selected two talented students to display their artwork at C.W. Post’s Hillwood Gallery’s Advanced Visions 9: High School Artists of Excellence Display.
Senior artists Emily Rincon and Stephen Skelly, outstanding AP Art students, have been working tirelessly on their portfolios all year long. Their efforts have been recognized by both Mr. Hedstrom and their peers; now, with their work displayed for all to see in this prestigious show, their talent will be enjoyed by many.
The Hillwood Gallery displayed their work until Jan. 30, when a reception was held from 5:00- 8:00 p.m. to honor these celebrated artists.
