Island Trees Girls Basketball Spends Holidays at Disney
The girls played two Florida teams and a Pennsylvania team at the end of December.

The Island Trees girls basketball team spent their winter vacation testing their talent against some of the best teams across the nation in the KSA Holiday Tournament at Disney World in Orlando.
The Lady Bulldogs went 1-2 at the tournament, which stretched from Dec. 26 through Dec. 31. Their one win came against South Fork (Fl.) High School, a 43-33 victory. They suffered defeats to Heritage High School (Fl.) and Merion-Mercy Academy in Pennsylvania.
The Lady Bulldogs opened the 2012 calendar year Wednesday with a home loss to North Shore High School, which moved them to 5-3 overall on the season.
