Island Trees Track Team Excels on Gold Coast Trip
The boys finish with an impressive league record of 13-1.

The Island Trees High School boys track team recently took a ride through the Gold Coast of Long Island. The team was victorious against Cold Spring Harbor, Locust Valley, and North Shore, bringin their final league record to 13-1.
School records were set by Stephen Schmidt and the 4 by 1 relay team. Schmidt set his record by throwing the discus 129 feet. The record-breaking relay team consisted of Lucas Pugliese, Phil Sellitto, Tyler Blauvelt, and Anthony Leonick, as all of these students also won their individual track events.

A second 4 by 1 team, Kyle Kelly, Christian Bours, Tommy Brownstone, and Joey Darcy, took 3rd place at the meet.
