June 6: MacArthur Softball Wins LI Championship
A look at the top stories and announcements for Wednesday.

- The MacArthur softball team (21-4) crushed East Islip on Tuesday, 16-2, to win the Long Island Championship, the school's first since 1988. MacArthur will now play in the state semifinals against Fairport or Clarence at 10 a.m. Saturday, and if they win they will advance to the title game at 3 p.m. Congrats to the Generals!
- The Long Island Mobile Amateur Radio Club will host its monthly meeting in Room B at the 7:30 p.m.
- The Levittown Public Library will also host its monthly meeting of the Board of Trustees starting at 8 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
