Levittown Community Comes Together to Help Local Student
A fundraiser will be held on Monday for the local sophomore who suffered from a traumatic injury after an accident.

The Levittown community recently came together to help one local resident after a terrible accident.
Last Saturday evening, Division Avenue High School sophomore William Torres was hospitalized with a traumatic injury after an accident in a pool.
"His recovery will be long and hard fought, but he will persevere," a post on the Division Avenue High School PTSA Facebook page reads.

In order to help Torres, students and school officials have organized an event to help with him and his family with his medical expenses.
"William is an Abbey Lane/Wisdom Lane alumni, but more important he is a member of the Levittown Community, lets show him how much we care for our own," the post reads.

The "Walk for Will" is scheduled for Monday, June 13 at the Division Avenue HIgh School Football Field from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The cost is $5 per person participating. The event will also include t-shirts/wrist bands, beverages and baked goods for sale as well as family games.
All money collected will be donated to Torres' family.
Donations from Laser Bounce, Arizona Ice Tea, Royal Fitness, Moe's Southwest Grill, Tashi Rose Boutique, Fred's Deli and several DAHS families who are making up baskets have been secured, according to the PTSA Facebook page.
