Levittown Girl to Compete for Miss Pre-Teen New York Title

A Wisdom Lane Middle School sixth grader is set to compete against some of the most talented young adults in the state for the title of Miss Pre-Teen New York.

Alexis Zirogiannis, 11, of Levittown, will take her martial arts expertise to the stage of the statewide competition on Nov. 16 for the 2014 title.

Zirogiannis will be competing in the Miss Pre-Teen Division against New Yorkers ages 7-19. In addition to showing off her strengths, she will compete in modeling routines and most importantly, give an interview to tout her personality skills.

Zirogiannis is an honor student and brown belt at Y.H. Park Taekwondo where she trains with her parents, brother, cousins, and uncles.

If she wins, Zirogiannis will head to Orlando, Fla. to represent New York in the National Competition.
