Police released a map showing where the burglaries have occurred.

Nassau County Police are investigating a series of burglaries targeting homes across Nassau County, including three in Levittown, that share a similar pattern.

During the burglary, police say a woman typically knocks on the front door to make sure no one is home while a man enters the home by rear pry entry and steals jewelry and other concealable items.

Each burglary reportedly involves a black Mercedes SUV ML350 with a gold New York license plate, push guards around the headlight and grill and a plastic tinted cover on the rear license plate.
