Levittown Kicks Off The 2017-18 School Year
Students came to class and got ready to work as they adjusted to their new schedules.
With backpacks and new school supplies in tow, students from throughout the Levittown School District entered the 2017-18 school year on Sept. 6 with a warm welcome from administrators and faculty members.
Students were eager to learn as they met their new teachers, reunited with their peers, learned their schedules and grew accustomed to their new routines. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Tonie McDonald and Assistant Superintendent for Instruction Todd Winch popped into classrooms throughout the day to greet students back for a new year.
"It’s wonderful to see all the smiling faces of our children on the first day of school," said McDonald.
