Levittown Man Saved From Lunchtime Choking Incident: Police

The victim was eating at the Adults and Children with Learning Disabilities Center in Levittown, police said.

LEVITTOWN, NY — A man was hospitalized after a choking incident on Monday afternoon in Levittown, police said.

The 58-year-old victim was eating his lunch at the Adults and Children with Learning Disabilities Center on Hempstead Turnpike when a worker noticed him choking and turning blue, police said.

The 60-year-old female worker started CPR until police arrived. A Life Vax device was administered to clear the victim's airway. He was taken to an area hospital and is in stable condition.
