Levittown PAL boys and girls at their last class at the New York Equestrian Center in West Hempstead. The lessons were not all riding; the children learned to groom the horses and were taught about the different breeds and proper color names of each horse at the center. A parent said, "they like that Levittown PAL offers this program because their child does not participate in typical team sports, this gives him an opportunity to get some exercise and meet new friends". The six-week program came to a close on a beautiful day. Olivia Irwin said, "It was great fun" and she looks forward to joining again.
