LEVITTOWN, NY — Summer break is nearly over for Levittown students, who head back to school Wednesday. With that, parents and students in the Levittown Public Schools ought to know several important dates for the 2019-2020 school calendar

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

9/3: No school (Superintendents Conference Day)

9/4: First day of school for students

9/30: No school (Rosh Hashanah)

10/9: No school (Yom Kippur)

10/14: No school (Columbus Day)

11/5: No school for students (Election Day/Superintendents Conference Day)

11/11: No school (Veterans Day)

11/28 - 11/29: No school (Thanksgiving recess)

12/23-1/1: No school (Winter recess)
