In addition to serving as Levittown's assistant superintendent since 2016, Mr. Winch has also been the director and assistant director of pupil services and social studies chairperson. He began his educational career in 1995 as a social studies teacher at Division Avenue High School. Mr. Winch also worked for five years as assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction in the Plainedge School District.
"I would like to thank the board of education for its continued support and for the trust that's been placed in me," Mr. Winch said. "I am excited to continue the work we have been doing, meeting the challenges of the past few years, and charting a course for the years ahead. I appreciate the opportunity to continue making a difference in the lives of those in the Levittown school community. I look forward to working closely with Dr. McDonald to ensure a smooth transition in leadership."

Mr. Winch holds a bachelor's degree in history, a master's degree in liberal studies and a school district administrator certificate from Stony Brook University.
