Levittown Schools Put On Lockout During Police Investigation

Police are searching for a suspect near the Wisdom Lane Middle School in Levittown, and all of the district's schools were put on lockout as a precaution.

According to police, there was a car crash on Shelter Lane, near Central Avenue, which is near the middle school. One of the drivers involved in the crash fled the scene on foot, police said.

Because of the search, Wisdom Lane was placed on lockout. A lockout means that students go about their day as normal, but no one is allowed in or out of the school buildings. The district said that the other schools were placed on lockout as a precaution.

Police are still searching for the suspect.
