Levittown Seniors Tapped For Physical Education Award

NYS Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance honored students its Outstanding Physical Education Student Award.

LEVITTOWN, NY — Four seniors from the Levittown School District were recognized with the Outstanding Physical Education Student Award from the Nassau Zone of the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance recently, according to a district news release. The students include Madison Cooper and Nick Roselli from Division Avenue High School, and Nicholas Bavaro and Gianna Chiarello from General Douglas MacArthur High School.

The New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance Association recognizes two exceptional Physical Education students in their senior year from high schools across Nassau County. The seniors were nominated by their physical education teachers for not only their physical abilities but their integrity, leadership skills and their personal and social responsibility. They were celebrated along with their fellow 2020-2021 award recipients during a virtual ceremony in December due to the pandemic.
