Levittown String Musicians to Attend LISFA

The Levittown School District is pleased to announce that eight student-
musicians have been selected to participate in the Long Island String Festival Association Junior High School and Senior High School festivals.

This prestigious honor allows students the opportunity to play with Long Island’s most talented string-musicians. The following students will attend the festival on Nov. 16 at Plainview-Old Bethpage Middle School following two rehearsals.

Junior High School Festival (Grades 8-9)

• Eileen Cha – Cello, Wisdom Lane Middle School
• Miriam Heras – Cello, Jonas E. Salk Middle School
• Joy Kim – Violin I, Division Avenue High School
• Helen Zhang – Violin II, MacArthur High School

Senior High School Festival (Grades 10-12)

• Paul An – Violin I, MacArthur High School
• Brianne Giuliano – Bass, MacArthur High School
• Dawn Kim – Violin II, Division Avenue High School
• Whitney Sun – Viola and Violin I, MacArthur High School
