MacArthur High School Grad Receives Bob Scott Award

Congratulations to Dolan Jones!

The Levittown School District announced that Dolan Jones recently received the US Lacrosse Bob Scott Award.

Jones, a recent MacArthur High School graduate, will be continuing his lacrosse career at Roger Williams University this fall.

The award is given to a player who goes above and beyond in service to his team, school and community, and who exemplifies the fundamentals of lacrosse through hard work and leadership on and off the field.

Bob Scott, who was the head lacrosse coach for the Johns Hopkins University Blue Jays men’s lacrosse team from 1955 to 1974, had a career record of 158 wins and seven national championships.

In addition, he was inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 1977.
