Nassau County Man Charged With Exposing Himself to Teen: Police
The arrest was made on Sunday.
A 56-year-old man was arrested Sunday morning for exposing himself to an 18-year-old woman in Levittown on Wednesday, according to Nassau Police.
Levittown resident Lawrence Appel pulled down the front of his pants and exposed himself after getting the attention of the woman at McLaren Field on 275 Loring Road, police said.
He then fled on foot northbound on Loring Road, police say.

He was placed under arrest at his home Sunday at 12:30 a.m. without incident.
Appel is charged with public lewdness and was released on an appearance ticket.

He is scheduled to appear in court on July 18.
