Man Fled Nassau Crash That Left 2 Seriously Injured
Nassau police are looking for the man who they say caused the crash that injured two and damaged four cars.

Police are searching for a man they say caused a serious car crash in Levittown early Saturday morning, which left two people seriously injured.
According to police, a 2008 black Mercedes-Benz was driving east on Hempstead Turnpike at 2:30 a.m. when the driver ignored a red traffic light and collided with a 2017 Dodge pickup truck that was traveling north on Wantagh Avenue. This caused two other cars that were also traveling north on Wantagh Avenue, a 2017 Jeep Cherokee and a 2016 Volkswagen, to collide.
The driver of the Mercedes fled the scene on foot, leaving his car behind. The driver of the Jeep, a 25-year-old man, and his passenger, a 21-year-old woman, were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
