Man With Giant Bandage on Chin Robs Nassau Bank
The robbery occurred Wednesday afternoon, police say.
LEVITTOWN, NY - Police are looking for a man who robbed a Levittown bank on Wednesday afternoon.
According to police, the man entered the Bank of America located at 3161 Hempstead Turnpike at about 4 p.m. and handed a teller a demand note.
The teller complied and the man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. The robber was last seen fleeing on foot heading westbound on Hempstead Turnpike.
There were three employees and one customer in the bank at the time of the robbery. No injuries were reported.
The robber is described as white, 25-30 years old, 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-6, with a medium build. He was wearing a hat, sunglasses and a bandage on his chin.
