Man With Gun Robs Levittown 99 Cent Store

LEVITTOWN, NY - Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a Levittown store on Sunday night.

According to police, a man entered the Island 99 Cent Store located at 3025 Hempstead Turnpike around 7:21 p.m., stated he had a gun and demanded money. A 33-year-old female employee complied and gave the man an unknown amount of cash.

The robber also stole the woman’s cellphone and a phone belonging to the store before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction. There were no reported injuries.

The robber is described as black, between 5-foot-4 and 5-foot-6, with a thin and wearing a gray mask, a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark colored jeans, black sneakers, black gloves and a black jacket.
