Narcan training

Many of our children, siblings, spouses and other loved ones are abusing opioids such as Oxycodone, Hydrocodone and Heroin at alarming rates, and too many of them are dying from it.  Sadly, we know it can happen to anyone from any family.  Learn what to do in case of an opioid overdose and how to administer the life-saving, overdose-reversal agent called Naloxone or Narcan.  Narcan is the antidote to an opioid overdose and you can get your kit free!  YES Community Counseling Center will be hosting a NARCAN Training on May 22 at 7pm at 152 Center Lane, Levittown.  Pre-registration is required: Felicia Schneberg, NC Dept. of Human Services, Office of Mental Health, Chemical Dependency & Developmental Disabilities Services, 516-227-7028.  For further questions you may also contact Angela Piccininni at YES CCC, 516-799-3203.
