New School Year Kicks Off in Levittown

Levitown students head back to class.

Submitted by Levittown School District

Levittown students disembarked from the familiar yellow school buses on Sept. 3 eager to start the 2014-2015 academic year. Toting their backpacks and school supplies, students in all of the district’s 11 facilities received a warm welcome from administrators and staff. While settling into their classroom routines, the students also became acquainted with their classmates and even made new friends.

Superintendent of Schools Dr. Tonie McDonald greeted students as they arrived on respective campuses and reported that she was impressed by the district’s smooth opening.
