The finals took place on August 16 after rain canceled the event on Sunday.
The East Village Green Pool on Tuesday was the site of the finals of the Levittown Swimming Association Championships.
The event started at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday after being rescheduled from Sunday due to rain. The preliminary heats were held this past Saturday. Winners of Tuesday's events were awarded with trophies, ribbons and/or medals.
Among those present at the event were Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray, State Senator Kemp Hannon, Assemblyman Dave McDonough and Hempstead Town councilmember Gary Hudes.
