Police: Teen Causes BB Gun Damage, Points Gun at Another Teen
The 18-year-old faces several charges.

An 18-year-old from Wantagh faces several charges after police say he fired a BB gun at vehicles and businesses and pointed the gun at another teen.
According to police, Rocko Fox shot the BB gun at an occupied vehicle in the parking lot of the Cherrywood Shopping Center on Wantagh Avenue at about 11:45 p.m. Thursday.
The 17-year-old male driver of the car exited the vehicle and observed a hole in the rear tailgate, police said. When he confronted Fox, who was in his own car, Fox pointed the BB gun at the teen before fleeing the scene, police said.

Responding officers located Fox a short time later and placed him under arrest without incident, police said.
A subsequent investigation revealed that Fox had also shot at and damaged the glass windows of Cherrywood Wine & Liquor, located at 1152 Wantagh Avenue, The Realty Advisors, located at 1168 Wantagh Avenue, as well as the front and rear windshields of a car that was parked in the Willow Wood Shopping Center across the street.

Fox is charged with second degree menacing, three counts of third degree criminal mischief and fourth degree criminal mischief. He is due to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Friday.
