Police: Woman Stole Hospital Patient's Personal Information in Bethpage
The suspect, who worked as an account representative for Winthrop Hospital, was arrested Thursday.

A woman who worked as an account representative for Winthrop Hospital was arrested Thursday after police said she stole personal information from patients while operating out of a Bethpage location.
Jasmine Sanchez, 33, of Lawrenceville in Georgia, accessed and took patient’s personal information, including their Social Security numbers and credit card information, while she operated out of 700 Hicksville Road, police said.
A search warrant that was executed at the location where Sanchez was staying in Brentwood led to the recovery of a spiral notebook with handwritten personal information of eleven patients, police said.

Sanchez surrendered herself to the Major Case Bureaus Crimes Against Property Squad thanks to a joint effort with the New York City Police Department’s Computer Section and the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.
She is charged with nine counts of third degree unlawful possession of personal identification.

The suspect was arraigned in First District Court, Hempstead on Thursday.
