Woman Discovered to Have Arrest Warrant at Levittown Gym Found With Stolen IDs, Credit Cards: Cops
The woman tried to scan in at a local gym when the employee found she had an arrest warrant in New Jersey.

LEVITTOWN, NY - A Queens woman was arrested after it was discovered that she had a warrant for her arrest for an incident in New Jersey and was caught with driver’s licenses and credit cards that weren’t hers at a Levittown gym on Tuesday morning, according to Nassau County Police.
A 21-year-old male employee at LA Fitness Health Club on 3601 Hempstead Turnpike called 911 after he scanned in 50-year-old Elsie Hobbs and received a prompt stating the member had a warrant for her arrest from an incident that occurred at the New Jersey LA Fitness, police said.
Police responded and placed Hobbs into police custody without incident after an open warrant was confirmed, according to police.

Further investigation revealed that Hobbs was in possession of Louisiana, Illinois, and Missouri driver’s licenses as well as a Discover card, Chase Debit card and Bank of America debit card all not belonging to her, police said.
There were no injuries reported.

She is charged with two counts second degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property, fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property, and two counts unlawful possession of Personal Identification Information, police said.
She will be arraigned on Wednesday.
