The board also advanced geothermal test wells for the new building, heard strong resident opposition to a proposed Spring Street cell tower, and authorized bids for new pickleball courts at Lewisboro Town Park. 
• Westchester BOL Supports Northern Westchester Organizations Fighting Hunger (yonkerstimes.com) — Lewisboro is part of County Legislator Erika Pierce’s district, which just helped secure $19,500 in Westchester funding for two Northern Westchester food programs serving families across the region. The Pantry in Mount Kisco and the Community Center of Northern Westchester in Katonah will use the money to expand choice-style pantries and home deliveries, supporting thousands of food‑insecure neighbors.
• Kerry Kennedy at Manhattanville for Young Women's Leadership Summit (mpnnow.com) — Students from the Katonah Lewisboro School District joined nearly 60 peers at Manhattanville University for a Young Women’s Leadership Summit focused on human rights and community change. With activist Kerry Kennedy as keynote speaker, participants explored their personal motivations, discussed current human rights challenges, and developed ideas to become stronger leaders in their schools and hometowns.
